Do you want to find exercise that helps you love your body and makes life easier and more fun?
You remember what it was to be a little kid, just moving your body and exploring how it worked because it was fun? The things you would discover by pretending to be an animal or a plane, or just spinning around and dancing? For most of us, by the time we reach our thirties, these fun excursions into our body are nothing but a wistful cloudy memory. Most of us have pain or tightness or tension that makes being that carefree a thing of the past, and many of us have learned to fear moving our bodies due to injuries we have sustained throughout our life.
Even when we feel “OK” and nothing in particular is bothering us, we can’t imagine exercise that gives us the same kind of joy in movement we had when we were kids. Instead, we drag ourselves to the gym and zone out reading or watching TV while we force ourselves to stay on the treadmill for 30 minutes, not noticing once in that time how it feels to move our bodies.
This scenario is so common in our busy society. We exercise because we know we should, but we don’t really love it or feel nourished by it.
If only there was something that was fun and enlivening that helped us achieve and surpass our fitness goals, while giving us tools for living in a body in the real world of work and responsibility!
Great News! If you want exercise that helps you feel strong, centered, fluid and ready to take on the world, you are in the right place! You can find the fun in movement again, and we can help you get there!
